Armenian Pork BBQ – Khorovats

Ingredients and Directions

  • Cut the pieces to your liking
  • Add a handful of salt, dry thyme, red basil, black pepper, and Armenian red pepper
  • Add one large chopped red onion
  • Mix everything very well with gloves on
  • Place in a closed container and refrigerate up to 24 hours
  • Place on hot grill, away from direct fire, and grill while turning once in a while for 15 minutes or until fully cooked evenly.
  • Place in a container wrapped and covered with Armenian Lavash bread
  • You can garnish with greens such as parsley, cilantro, green onions, and fresh basil
  • Serve hot and enjoy
